A Patio Set for Four vs. a Set for Six
Five Vakollia sets publish a seat count: two seat 5, two seat 7, one seats 8. For four people, either 5 seat set covers it; for six, the 7 and 8 seat sets do. The other sets give pieces only, and pieces include tables and ottomans.
Pieces and seats
For four
The 4 piece aluminum set and the 6 piece aluminum set both list 5 seats. The 5 and 6 piece swivel sets don't give a seat count; their titles name the pieces (chairs, a sofa on the 6 piece, ottomans and a side table).
For six
The 5 piece aluminum sectional and the 5 piece aluminum set with a fire pit list 7 seats; the 9 piece rope wicker sectional lists 8. The larger wicker sectionals with fire pit tables (10 and 15 pieces) don't publish seats.
Why not count seats from the title?
Because it would be this site's estimate, not the manufacturer's figure. A "3-seat couch" in a title is one piece of the set; whether the set as a whole seats five or six depends on what else is in it.
Questions
Which set seats the most?
Among sets that publish it, the 9 piece rope wicker sectional, at 8 seats.
Is a 7 piece set bigger than a 5 piece set?
Not necessarily. The 5 piece aluminum sectional lists 7 seats; the 7 piece wicker set with a fire pit doesn't publish seats, and its pieces include the fire pit table.
