How Much Space Does a Patio Set Need?
No Vakollia listing publishes it. None of the 16 gives the footprint of an arranged set, and none of the feature texts gives per-piece dimensions. What is published is the piece count, a seat count on five sets, and the size of the fire pit tables.
What the listings give
Piece counts for every set, confirmed by both the title and the listing data. Seat counts for five sets. Fire pit table sizes - 44 in or 42 in across - for eight of the nine products with a fire pit. One seat depth (29.5 in, on the 6 piece aluminum set). All of it is in the spec table.
What they don't
The width and depth of a set once arranged, and the dimensions of each sofa, chair or table in it. The listing data does carry dimensions, but on almost every set they are the same across different sizes of one design - for example 31.4 x 12.9 x 29.5 in on the 5, 6 and 10 piece swivel sets alike - which means they describe a shipping box, not the furniture. This site does not publish them.
Two exceptions. The 44 in fire pit table, where the listing data gives 44.1 x 28.3 x 26.0 in for both colours and the long side matches the title. And the swivel recliner pair: 34.8 x 30.9 x 38.2 in per chair, which matches the manufacturer's own dimension diagram.
How to plan without the figure
- Measure the area you have, including the paths people walk through.
- Read the current Amazon listing's product details and photos for the set you want, and ask the seller there for the arranged size if it isn't given.
- A piece count is not a size: it includes tables, ottomans and corner pieces. The 15 piece and 10 piece sectionals are the same design, so more pieces means more seating in the same style, not a different shape.
- For a fire pit table, placement is set by the manufacturer's instructions.
Assembly, gas connection and placement are covered by the instructions supplied with each product. This site does not publish assembly steps or safety distances; follow the manufacturer's instructions and any local rules for propane appliances.
Questions
Why not publish the box dimensions?
Because they would be read as the size of the furniture. A figure that looks like a measurement and isn't one is worse than a blank.
Which product has published dimensions?
The 44 in fire pit table, in gray and brown: 44.1 x 28.3 x 26.0 in; and the swivel recliner pair: 34.8 x 30.9 x 38.2 in per chair. No set publishes its size.
