Aluminum Frame vs. Steel and Wicker: What It Changes
Four Vakollia sets have aluminum frames; the other nine seating products are wicker or rope wicker over steel or metal frames. The listings describe the frames but don't publish a like-for-like weight comparison, so this guide doesn't draw one.
Every frame, as described
Weights come from Creators API listing data, which doesn't say whether a figure is the furniture or the shipment, so they are reference only. One - 300 lb for the 5 piece aluminum set with a fire pit - is flagged as unconfirmed.
What the aluminum listings add
Powder coating on three of the four; adjustable leveling feet on the 5 piece set with a fire pit; an all-welded frame on the 6 piece set, per the manufacturer.
What the wicker listings add
The swivel sets state a 450 lb load capacity, and the recliner pair 400 lb, per the manufacturer. The 7 and 8 piece sectionals have clips that link neighbouring seats. The 9 piece sectional uses rope wicker rather than flat weave.
Care
The listings don't publish care schedules. Follow the care notes supplied with the set; see also care and storage between seasons.
Questions
Is aluminum lighter?
Often, as a material - but the published weights here aren't comparable enough to show it for these sets: the sets differ in pieces, and the figures may include packaging.
